Welcome to our third issue of The Apoio Pulse.

Well last weeks’ topic on Provider requirements provoked great conversations. If you are interested in more information, keep an eye out, we plan to bring you more information on the requirements for providers servicing the NDIS industry.

This week has seen the end of Summer and a humid transition to Autumn! Can you believe that we are now in March…. Term 1 is nearly over… 2023 is going waaaayyyyy too fast!

On one hand it is like we are moving fast through the year but on the other hand, it seems everyone has had a slow start to the year! In the plan management world, these last couple of weeks has seen a big increase in the number of invoices being claimed. The great thing about this is that the participants are accessing the supports they need. A common pain point we hear is that participants are on endless waiting lists, does this increase in invoices mean that there are now more service providers? The service providers are working more hours? or Australia really does ‘stop’ for the month of January?!

On that note, we shall get back to it and continue with our prompt payments and personalised support.

Oh and for those that are not aware, our March NDIS provider networking event is next week. Tickets are on sale until Tuesday evening or until sold out. Lunch is included and any provider is welcome! This month’s event coincides with International Women’s Day and the guest speaker is Namira from Disability Maternity Care. We can’t wait!
